  We Believe...
in the divine inspiration of the Scriptures, and that the original manuscripts of the
Old and New Testaments of the Bible are the inspired Word of God given through
people. They contain a true history of the creation of heaven, earth, and humanity and
proclaim a correct prophecy of the ages to come. Thus the Scriptures we possess
today are the sufficient rule of faith and practice and the final authority for
truth and salvation. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21)

   We Believe...
in the one true and living God, maker of all creation; the all- knowing,
all-powerful, everywhere-present, eternal God; the source of all goodness, truth
and love; who has manifested himself to mankind as the Father of all things by
creation, as the Son in redemption, and as the Holy Ghost for the purpose of
regeneration in the lives of humanity. He is the First and the Last, and beside
Him there is no God. There was no God formed before Him; neither shall be there
any after Him.

(Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:10, Isaiah 44:6, II Corinthians 13:14,
I Timothy 1:17; 3:16; 6:13-16)

   We Believe...
in the gospel of Jesus Christ, which declares Him to be the only begotten Son of
God, who was born of a virgin and who lived to show us the words and works of
God. Jesus is the Son of God according to the flesh (Romans 1:3) and the very
God Himself according to the Spirit (Matthew 1:23). Jesus is the Christ (Matthew
16:16); the creator of all things (Colossians 1:16- 17); God with us (Matthew
1:23); God made flesh (John 1:1-14); God manifested in the flesh (I Timothy
3:16); He which was, which is, and which is to come, the Almighty (Revelation
1:8); the mighty God, everlasting Father, and Prince of peace (Isaiah 9:6).
Jesus Himself testified of His identity as God when He said, "He that hath seen
me hath seen the Father" (John 14:7-11) and "I and my Father are one" (John
10:30).As the Savior, He was crucified and died on the cross in our place to be
the supreme sacrifice for sin. He was buried in a tomb but rose again on the
third day, as the Scriptures foretold, and is now exalted as King of kings and
Lord of lords. As God manifested in the flesh, He is true God and man; in Him
dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

(Acts 10:38-40; I Corinthians 15:1-4; Colossians 2:9)

   We Believe...
that by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so
death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: It Is not in man to direct
his own steps; and that there is a way which seemeth right to a man, but then
end thereof are the ways of death. Further, since man is by nature separated
from God because of sin, man could/cannot save himself. Therefore God sent his
own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the
flesh: As the scriptures declare: To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling
the world unto himself. (Prov. 14:12, Romans 3:23, 5:12, 8:3, 2Cor. 5:19)

   We Believe...
in the plan of salvation, proclaimed on the Day of Pentecost on the birthday of the
New Testament church, which includes faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord,
sincere repentance (death), water baptism (burial) by immersion in the name of
the Lord Jesus Christ, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost (resurrection)
which is evidenced by speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives the
utterance. (Matt. 28:19; Acts 2:1-39; 10:44-48; Acts 19:1-7)

   We Believe...
in living a life of holiness, both inwardly and outwardly, as a result of the
working of God’s grace in us. The scriptures admonish us that, denying
ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly,
in this present world; (Titus 2:12) thus each person is led by the spirit to
become more like Christ out their love for him. The Word of the Lord declares
that all who names the name of Christ should depart from sin and separate
themselves from the evil practices of this present age.

(Ephesians 4:21-24; II Timothy 2:19; Hebrews 12:14)

   We Believe...
in the sanctity of marriage, and in the Biblical mandate that marriage is to be
one man married to one woman. (Genesis 2:18-24, Matt. 19:4-6, Titus 1:6)

   We Believe...
in practicing genuine Christianity, through love for God and people, prayer,
obedience to the Word of God, heartfelt worship and expressive praise, sharing
our faith, commitment to our marriage companions and families, availability to
help one another in time of need, honesty and diligence in our employment, honor
and respect for our government as it submits to the divine plan for human
society, and the dedication of our time, talent, and treasure to advance of the
kingdom of God on earth. (Romans 12-13; Colossians 3-4)

   We Believe...
in the local and universal church, established by our Lord as a unique and special
fellowship for all who believes. It is the spiritual community ordained for
worship, stewardship, and service to God and people, of which every believer
must become a part, for it is the body of Christ in the world today, displaying
the same miraculous power and spiritual gifts experienced by the early church.
(I Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4:4-16)

   We Believe...
in the imminent return if Jesus Christ, that glorious appearing when our Lord shall
come with the sound of a trumpet, when both those who have died in Christ and
those who now live in Christ will rise to meet Him in the air to be with Him
forever. (I Corinthians 15:51-55; I Thessalonians 4:13-18)

   We Believe...
in the judgment of all people, when the wicked shall receive their Punishment and
the righteous shall receive their reward.

   We Believe...

in the ultimate triumph of righteousness and in the life Everlasting.
(Romans 14:10-12; II Thessalonians 1:6-10; Revelation 20:12-21)
